Thunderheart to be revisited at South Dakota Film Festival

This year's South Dakota Film Festival looks to be a great one with a tribute to the Val Kilmer/Graham Greene thriller "Thunderheart."

 

Special guests confirmed for the Sept. 28-30 Aberdeen festival are "Thunderheart" producer Jane Rosenthal and star Graham Greene.

 

If you've never seen this 1992 movie that was filmed almost entirely in South Dakota, you owe it to yourself to catch it. A somewhat fictionalized accounting of the unrest on South Dakota's Indian reservations in the 1970s, it's one of my favorite films of all time.
