Ovation TV looking for short films

Ovation TV, a nationwide cable and satellite network, is conducting a short film contest for filmmakers. Entries will be accepted March 7-May 13.

They contacted me hoping to see some South Dakota films entered.

The contest website will go live on Monday, March 7, but will be similar to this one from last year.

Ovation offers original and acquired programming focused on art, culture and personal creativity. It has a subscriber base of nearly 40 million via cable systems, DISH Network and DIRECTV.

Let's see if we can't get South Dakota's filmmaking community noticed on a national scale!
